As with any tourist-oriented community, Park City is packed with restaurants. It's easy to pick out the popular spots by walking down Main Street. But what about some of the lesser known spots downtown and out and about?
El Chubasco, or LC as locals call it, is tucked away in a strip mall pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It offers quick, fresh and reasonably priced Mexican. The real calling card for LC is its salsa bar - more than a dozen waiting for you to fill up your cup. My personal preference is the orange chipotle.
Davanza's is a local favorite, especially with teens and young adults. There's two locations, but the off-Main spot is the mainstay. It's basic pizza and burgers, with beer or soda. Park City is not a notable pizza town, but Davanza's is decent. The burgers are huge. Nothing fancy here. In fact, the restaurant is kind of dark and dumpy. But it's worth every drop of grease.
If you're looking for a light, healthy lunch, checkout Superman. It's in the same strip mall as El Chubasco. Bob serves up a wide range of fresh soups daily plus small sandwiches. My favorite is the meatloaf.
