1. Snooks Bayside
Snooks is a bit difficult to find, located behind Largo (Honda) Motors, directly on the bay at MM 99.5. The property consists of ample parking, a main restaurant building and a large tiki bar. Happy hour specials are only available at the tiki bar. Happy hour is from 5-8pm, Monday-Friday and from 4-7, weekends. Beer & well drinks are 2 for 1. Rum punch and premixed mojitos are $3. Snacks (chicken wings, poppers and stuffed fried olives) and 45¢ each, minimum 8. There is also live music starting around 6pm each evening. This is a great place to watch the sunset!

The tip here is be sure you get the happy hour price for your drinks. The bartenders like to play the game of charging full price for drinks if you look like a tourist or order a drink even 1 minute before happy hour officially starts. They will also up-sell and ask you if you want this or that vodka, which is not on happy hour. Just be sure to ask before you order.
2. Jimmy Johnson's Big Chill
JJ's Big Chill is located on the bayside of US 1, at MM 104. Parking is sometimes a challenge, especially on weekends. In the main building, there is a restaurant, martini bar and sports bar. Happy hour is only at the outside tiki bar. Happy hour is everyday from 4-7pm. Draft beer is $1 and well drinks are 2 for 1. There are no food specials during happy hour and full priced appetizers tend to be overpriced. If you spend at least $25, you can use their swimming pool. This is also a great place to watch sunset.
3. Breezer's Bar and Grille
Located in a separate building at the Marriott Resort (MM 104), Breezer's is often overlooked as a happy hour destination. There is ample free parking. Happy hour is from 4-7pm. Well drinks are $3.75. Domestic beer is $2.75. There are lots of happy hour food specials; 8 wings $5, pineapple cheese pizza $6, mozzarella sticks $5, sliders $5, etc. Live entertainment starts at 6pm. This is also a great spot to watch sunset.
4. Snapper's Waterfront Bar
Located at MM 94.5 on the ocean, you will find a lot of locals at Snapper's happy hour. Their happy hour runs Monday-Saturday, 4-7pm, offering 2 for 1 well drinks and domestic beer. From 4-6 pm, you can get 75¢ wings, oysters and peel-and-eat shrimp. There is live entertainment, Thursday-Saturday starting at 7 or 7:30pm. Sadly, because you are on the ocean and not the bay, you cannot watch sunset from here.

Be sure to stick with happy hour drinks and food. Their regular priced drinks tend to be pricey.
5. The WKEZ Radio Show
WKEZ 96.9FM radio shows from 6-7pm are held at various restaurants around town.
Monday is Fish House-Encore's patio. Ladies drink FREE (beer, wine, well drinks) and men get 2 for 1 on the same. There are also creative FREE appetizers for everyone.

On Tuesday, this same radio show has moved between JJ's Big Chill at MM 104 and Bayside Grill at MM 99.5. At Big Chill, ladies drinks were free. At Bayside Grill, drinks were 2 for 1, with appetizer specials. You will need to check with the station to confirm where this is being held on any given Tuesday.

On Wednesday, this radio show moves 20 miles down to Islamorada's Zane Grey Lounge. They offer drink specials, but nothing is free.
6. Shipwrecks - All Day $1 Draft Beer
If you are simply looking for cheap, cold beer, look no further than Shipwrecks. It is right on the ocean (45 Garden Cove Lane) at MM 106. They have $1 draft beer all day until 6pm! There are no food specials, but their regular menu is definitely less expensive than most of the tourist places in Key Largo.
7. Buzzard's Roost
Also located on the ocean side at MM 106 (21 Garden Cove Lane), Buzzard's Roost, offers $1 domestic draft beer from 4-6pm. House wine is $2.50 during happy hour. They also offer 35¢ chicken wings and poppers during happy hour.

Be sure to stick with happy hour times and drinks or you will get a shock on your bill. Normally, Buzzard's Roost is a bit pricey.
8. Paradise Pub
Located right on US 1 at MM 103, Paradise Pub is a convenient stop if you are heading north after work. It is a typical no-frills bar with pool tables, Paradise Pub offers $1.50 draft beer, daily 4-7pm. They also have 50¢ chicken wings and peel-and-eat shrimp.
