  • 1. Blau Varadero Hotel
    Blau Varadero Hotel Cuba, Varadero, Matanzas Province

    This is a fantastic hotel. There were three of us girls and we each had our own double bed in an oceanview room. The hotel was clean, the food was good, the beach was awesome, entertainment could have been improved but all in all a very relaxing place, with few teenagers and party types.

    Havana, Cuba

    We took a tour of Havana, I guess you must do this once when you visit Cuba. It is an amazing city with a lot of history. Loved the Pinia Colada bar we stopped at on the way, the great lunch in a small restaurant within the city ruins. The walking tour through the city. The children swarming me when I gave out books and toys. They were so precious it was like Christmas in the middle of April.

    The beach is beautiful, the people are amazing. They don't have much in the way of possessions but so much in their hearts. They invite you in, they don't ask for anything and they have million dollar smiles. Out of all my Caribbean vacations Cuba is my favourite destination by far. THE COFFEE is to die for!
