Go to Pikes Market, see the Space needle, eat some fish, and walk around the city. Easy city to get around in. |

2. The Gorge Amphitheatre
|
|
| Although it's totally a summer attraction, if you ever get a chance to see a show at this place, it's the best theatre!! In the middle of nowhere and the Columbia River Gorge is the backdrop. Amazing! |

| Beautiful mountain. Sometimes hard to see up close if it's cloudy, but nice park to spend the day in too. There aren't many hotels nearby or anything to do, but worth seeing in person. |

| You have to drive about 50 miles off the interstate to get to this volcano, but it's a beautiful drive and it is an active volcano you can see in person! |

Great little city with lots to do. There is a really nice Japanese Garden, the International Rose Test Garden, and if you're into books, Powell's Bookstore. Awesome! Good restaurants and easy bus system to get around. |

We drove from Portland to Newport, which is on the ocean. Newport is a sleepy little fishing town, but the views are beautiful of the ocean. |

| Best restaurant near Newport. Great ocean views and whale watching during dinner. And the food was excellent! |

| Nice ski town with good restaurants and shopping. There are some nice scenic routes around this area with views of the mountains and some pretty lakes. |

| One of the best meals we had the entire trip was at this place. The food was excellent and the owner was so nice. Highly recommend! |

| An amazing National Park. The most blue water I've ever seen. Nice place to hike. There's a loop to drive that goes around the lake. |

12. Redwood National Park

|
| If you've never seen a redwood tree in person, you have to see one....they are amazingly huge and beautiful. We took a hike on the Damnation Creek Trail, a 2.1 mile trail to the ocean with a 1000 ft elevation drop. Strenuous hike, but worth it! |

| Kind of a halfway point between oregon and wine country where we were going next. Not much to see, but too much to drive in one day. |

If you love wine, relaxing, and good food, Sonoma is the place to go! |

Only had a little time to spend in San Fran, but went on a bus tour of the city, got to see all the sights. The Golden Gate Bridge is awesome and just walking up and down the streets of SF is amazing to see so many people packed in one place! |

Stayed here for 2 nights. Located in Pacific Heights. Nice location and quiet. Rooms are small, but everyone in the hotel is so nice and accomodating! Good breakfast too. |
