spa, shop, eat in scottsdale...
Wonderful spa at the Fairmont Princess - the facility is beautiful and serene - the pool is great, very private - all in all a relaxing place to spend your morning...or even the whole day.
Great restaurant for wine ($5/glass for all wine before 4pm) and bruschette and salads. A locals favorite for lunch and close to downtown.
Great shopping, great location (central scottsdale), all outdoors, so you can walk around, enjoy the wonderful weather - grab a coffee or some ice cream - just enjoy the day.
This is one of many (and I mean many) dinner options in Scottsdale / Phoenix. I picked this one out because it is located in Kierland - so if you leave the spa late - or want to shop, have some dinner, and then shop some more - North is your best choice. They have also opened up North Wine Bar right next door which is similiar to Postino's (see above) but is located in Scottsdale...and therefore a bit pricier.
Cuisine is Italian with lots of fresh ingredients - yum.
Bianco's is a Phoenix fav all around - simple menu (pizza, anti pasta, brushetta, salads). It is located in a historic building (read small) and the wait can be seemingly ridiculous. Go expecting a 2-hour wait, but spend your time next door at the wine bar where you can get limited appetizers and a bottle or two of wine - it is all part of the Bianco experience!
Just all around yummy food - located in the biltmore part of town - actually, pretty close to Postino's - so you may want to shop at the Biltmore instead of Kierland....but wonderful food - another local hot spot.
