How to spend a day in Seattle with husband and five year old in tow
A great location in the heart of downtown and lovely rooms in the union tower give you a great base to explore Seattle
A lovely store, chock full of lavender stuff (my favorite herb!) is right across the road from the Sheraton. Great to escape a rainy day in Seattle!
The Seattle landmark is definately a must see - great views of the city and a blast from the past. I can only imagine how amazing the elevator ride must have seemed when it was built as its still a bit stomach turning now!
A few blocks from the hotel, the monorail takes you on a short ride to the Space needle. Worth the $2 fare and fun for everyone.
A truly authentic French dining experience in the heart of seattle - but with nice waiters. The food was superb and the ambience just wonderful. Our five year old is pretty well behaved and well traveled, not sure if its the right place for a rowdy bunch!
There are lots of things to look at but you have to see them throw the fish! Wonderful flowers and all sorts of hand made and imported items.
