Cheap Eateries in SoCal for food lovers

A list of great places to eat in Southern California, if you're ever in town

  • 1. Pink's Hot Dogs
Pink's Hot Dogs, West Hollywood, California

You have to get one of the specialty items that are listed at the bottom of the menu, a little more but definitely worth it! And don't be afraid of the long line that's in front (it's pretty much always like that) it moves pretty quickly because they have so many people working in the kitchen. If the parking is all filled up there's a side street in back of it that you can park on.

Pink's is my favorite place to go!

  • 2. Great Western Steak & Hoagie Company, Venice, California

Best Philly cheese steak ever! You don't have to live on the east coast to be able to make a mean cheese steak, this place proves it! The place is a hole in the wall, but that's usually who has the best food. We always get a cheese steak and then take it to the beach!

  • 3. Hole Mole, Long Beach, California
    Hole Mole, Long Beach, California

this place is another hole in the wall, but with amazing and cheap food! The fish tacos are to die for, and they have a lot of other things on their menu! i especially love the shrimp ceviche, when i saw shrimp ceviche on the menu, at first i was like ewe, thinking it was going to smelly and taste like it had been sitting out for a while, but when i got it it was sooo fresh and delicious, mmmm, just thinking about it makes my mouth water! Not only that, but it was super cheap!

  • 4. Molcasalsa, Whittier, CA

This place has some of the best nachos! The rest of the food is great as well! Yet another hole-in-the-wall place, but still delicious! The food takes a while to get, but it's totally worth it once you open up the box and that hot nacho air wafts in your face. I'm also recommending the Super Fries, it's like nachos but with fries instead, absolutely amazing!!! drool!
