1. Xcaret Eco Theme Park
Xcaret Eco Theme Park, Playa del Carmen
I would actually suggest planning to spend 2 days here. There were things that we ended up not seeing here. Our tickets included transportation, which worked out well for us.
2. Delphinus
Delphinus, Riviera Maya
This is where we swam with dolphins and we enjoyed it. Our tickets came with transportation and a day at the waterpark with free food and beverage so it turned out to be a really good deal.
3. Wet'n Wild / Parque Nizuc Waterpark
Wet'n Wild / Parque Nizuc Waterpark, Cancun
This is the waterpark connected to Delphinus and the kids enjoyed it immensely. As stated above, food and drink were included in our price, which made it really easy.
4. Playacar Palace
Playacar Palace, Playa del Carmen

Ave price: $431
I would suggest staying in this area of Playa del Carmen. There is a small ruins area and a market within walking distance of the hotels in this area.
