Crappies in the winter---or snowshoeing. Will have to try fishing for Walleyes in the spring.

Cabin #3 was perfect for our week long stay. Tried a sauna for the first time!

Dinner was great - had the Salmon---Lunch was a treat with a Bucky Burger and a Bloody Mary!

A fun little store in downtown Ely--rented xc skiis and hit the trails.

Rented two snowmobiles, hired a guide and road the trails all day--best tip: ride during the week! Had a hot trail lunch--yum! Love the Fishing Lake Loop and the Taconite Trail through Bear Head.
7. Chilly Dogs!

Visited an actual "dog yard", learned the basics of mushing and spent a day out in the woods with Jake.
