This is an ongoing project
huge casino, Border Grill or Rumjungle have great food (there is a tram that runs past MB, Luxor and Excalibur)
3/7/08: will be staying at hotel - review coming soon
not a huge fan of it but the pyramid is something you have to see
3/2/08: staying st hotel - review coming soon
one of my favorite places. Check out the Dueling Pianos at the Bat at Times Square; it’s a lot of fun. Upstairs, in Coney Island, they have an arcade with skee ball (my favorite game in the whole world), the roller coaster and lots of games. There are lots of great casual restaurants at NYNY.
update: the Coney Island area has been removed. Sad to see skee ball go!
The 2nd Vegas hotel I ever stayed in. I loved it and the whole trip. The outside is gorgeous but the casino is pretty tame. The only reason to go in is the Brewery way in the back.
Update 8/07: They added Diablo's, a cantina in the front and I can't for the life of me figure out how that ties in with MC. Ruined the whole outside facade, if you ask me
Stayed here August 2007 and am now a fan of the place. See my review!
The lobby is a must see and if your girl is anything like me, so is the shopping. Prada, Gucci, YSL…I can’t afford any of it but it doesn’t cost to look. ;-) If you past by at night, it’s worth a look to watch the fountains. So pretty!
Update: April 2007 - Stayed at the hotel and liked the room. Disapointed in the drink service and the crowds of tourists and probably won't stay again. But I will join the masses at the Conservatory every time I am in town.
Can you say enormous? I get lost here but there are reasons to go. Shopping for one. There are a few lounges to stop and get a drink and there are tons of restaurants. The attached Forum Shops should be seen. The painted sky over head changes from day to night hourly (I think?) and there are a few places to grab a bit to eat and watch. There are pretty fountains to see too. Sushi Roku is a great place for Sushi, with a killer view of the strip.
As of April 2006m the newest in town and something to see. The Parasol Bar is nice place to chill and the buffet is spectacular. And if you like expensive cars (and who doesn’t), go drool over Ferrari’s and Maserati’s. Very high end stores there too.
