  • 1. Changing of the Guard
Changing of the Guard, London, England

There will be every tourist in London here to see this...You will be straining your neck and waiting around forever to see something that it is really not interesting in my opinion! Also, as far as European palaces are concerned, Buckingham Palace is one of the most boring and non-descript. Go for a quick side trip to Windsor or Hampton Court for more interesting royal history.

  • 2. Piccadilly Circus
    Piccadilly Circus, London, England

This is really a "non-attraction", it's sort of just an intersection with Times Square-type neon signage. There's nothing to do here except maybe get pick-pocketed. You may stumble across this on your way through the city anyway, but don't go out of your way to come here.

  • 3. Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum
Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, London, England

Really long lines and really expensive! I wouldn't waste any time here with so many better attractions in London...There are Madame Tussaud's sprouting up all over the world now, so it is not even unique to London anymore.

  • 4. Tate Modern
    Tate Modern, London, England

This is really just my personal opinion, but I didn't get this museum. Admittedly I'm not a great admirer of modern art, but when I was walking through this museum I had a hard time figuring out what was supposed to be art and what was actually just a fire extinguisher. There are a few good works from the likes of Picasso and Dali, but with all the other world-class museums London has to offer, I would put this one at the bottom of the list.

  • 5. London Dungeon
    The London Dungeon, London, England

I haven't paid money to see this, but even the guidebooks say it is cheesy and overrated! Why pay 16 pounds to come here when you can get the feeling of tons of gruesome history (in the actual setting in which it took place) at the Tower of London?

  • 6. That's it... I only have five items because I LOVE London and almost every sight I've been to has it's good points!
