1. Oriental Theatre, Ford Center for the Performing Arts
| We saw Wicked at the Ford Center in October, 2007. This is a beautiful old theater, worth the trip, even if you are not seeing a play. |

| Wonderful zoo in a beautiful setting. Variety of animals. Very easy to get around. Price can't be beat...it's free! Spend some time in the park while you're there. |

| Shopping! If you love the high end stuff, this is the place to go! Even if you don't, it's fun to be there and watch all the people. |

4. John Hancock Center / Observatory

| Fun, affordable place to see all that Chicago has to offer! View the city from high above. See lake views as well as city views. Price is good, only $11 and you can stay up as long as you like. |

6. Chicago Lakeshore
| Take a walk on the pedestrian path along Lake Michigan in Chicago. If leaving from the zoo, walk down 3/4 mile to North Ave. Beach. Oak St. Beach is 3-4 blocks south of there. You can cross back over Lake Shore Dr. on pedestrian walkways all along the route. |
