A real classic in the middle of many 'tourist trap' restaurants.
For succulent Belgian and French cuisine.

  • 5. Fin du Monde

Really nice affordable cuisine. Not the place to go for experimental dishes but just decent well prepared food in a agreable atmosphere.

  • 6. Good food and friendly atmosphere
    http://www.brasseriedetempelier.be/

Fresh food at an affordable price and well prepared. Small and cosy restaurant.

  • 7. Inventive and exciting restaurant
    http://www.restaurantjourdefete.be/

Friendly place with a great formula and a good value for money ratio.
Chef takes pride in preparing seasonal and original dishes.

  • 8. AVOID (in my opinion!)

    't Keizershof (bland and expensive)
    Amadeus (factory)
Bord'eau (over hyped and unfriendly, not worth the money)
Stadius (gone down hill quickly, a tourist trap)
Vintage (arrogant service and unpleasant atmosphere)
Café Theatre (trendy but overpriced and overrated)
    Marco Polo (dirty)
Belga Queen (go in to have a look but it's a tourist trap)
Aba Jour (not a nice place...unfriendly)
Il Mezzogiorno (arrogant and not worth the money)
El Medina at the Kraanlei (low quality, expensive, slow and very small portions)
