My recent short visit to Dubai during which the intensity of summer of Middle East was felt

  • 1. Sheraton Four Points Bur Dubai
    Four Points by Sheraton Bur Dubai, Dubai, Emirate of Dubai

    Avg price: $135

    Good hotel in average price range. Rooms and washrrom are nice and clean. Plus there is a nice pool, gym and steam bath. There are couple of restaurants but food taste is below quality.

  • 2. BurJuman Shopping Center

    BurJuman is in Bur Dubai near Sheraton Four Points. It is similar to other malls in Dubai. Food court is excellent.

  • 3. Damascus, Restaurant

    A restaurant in Dera Dubai. Probably the Food here is the best Arabic food in Dubai

  • 4. Arabian Adventures
    Arabian Adventures, Dubai, Emirate of Dubai

    Desert Safari is a must in Dubai. Almost all hotels have tourism desk from where the trip can be arranged. Safari at Hata desert is the best. Don't go for it at Awer desert

  • 5. Deira City Center
    Deira City Center Shopping Mall, Dubai, Emirate of Dubai

    At Carrefour in City Center you can buy practically everything at reasonable prices.

  • 6. Gift Village

    Heaven for cheap rate and good quality shopping. It is at walking distance from City Center, Deira

  • 7. IBN Battuta Shopping Mall

    The mall if not know for its shopping but its architecture. It includes 6 different courts (China, India, Persia, Egypt, Tunisia, Andalucia) reflecting the art and culture of countries which were explored by famous traveler IBN Battuta

  • 8. Day 2 Day, Shopping Center

    Day 2 Day is in Karama area in Bur Dubai. All items here are at cheap price (2 Dirhams). Quality of most of them is not good (chinese stuff). However if you keep your eyes open you might be able to get some good items (Hint: Go for toys and home decoration)
