  • 1. Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
Sandestin Golf Resort - Raven, Burnt Pine, Baytowne, The Links, Destin

Probably the Premier Resort in the Florida Panhandle. Sandestin features everything you need for a perfect vacation and if you don't want to leave the property, you wont have too because it has everything. Sandestin has two sides: Bayside and Beachside. Both are equally lovely and there is a shuttle bus on the property that will take you where ever you want to go in Sandestin. There are also 2 wonderful and challenging golf courses. This is simply my favorite classy destination. Highly recommend that if you haven't stayed at Sandestin that you spend at least one day there enjoying it though I think it takes several days to explore all of it.

  • 2. Pensacola
    Pensacola

Pensacola, home of Naval Aviation. This city is where the Blue Angles are based and they put on several shows in Pensacola a year. Pensacola Beach is a beautiful white sand beach with several major chain hotels and a old U.S. Fort. Pensacola Beach is a wonderful beach though in recent years more and more major condos have been built. Pensacola Beach is very crowded several times a year like July 4th when the Blue Angels perform. High season is from May through Labor day but I personally prefer October when the crowds have dwindled and the weather is still wonderful

  • 3. Grayton Beach
Grayton Beach State Park, Grayton Beach

A little bit of paradise not too far from Destin Florida. The Grayton beach area is a wonderful planned beach community that has some beautiful homes and a beautiful beach. This area does not have "lots" of chain hotels but rather is designed like an old Florida beach community with houses, fences, roofs all having to meet specific criteria. Grayton is on the far side of Destin towards Panama City and I HIGHLY recommend this place.

  • 4. Tallahassee
    Tallahassee

Tallahassee Florida is Florida's capital and has a lot to see including FSU and Florida A&M, The new and old Capital buildings, Museum of History and much more. Take in a college football game from September to November while your visiting. Tallhassee has something for everyone.
