Aug 13, 2007  The need to get away for a little R & R.
0.0 of 5 stars based on 0 votes

Four Wineries within 3 miles and another just south on the way to Steeleville. Maramec Spring Park is a great place for a picnic lunch and history lesson on the Old Ironworks. Trout fishing for those that choose an early morning. Several B & B's Essence of the Vineyard, Painted Lady, Crutiques, Bear's Den. Wonderful dinner at Sybill's Restaurant, and the best icecream at Ruby's. There are several little shops and antiques shops. Easy trip from St. Louis.
