1. Caledonian Bar - Great Place
This is a great Bar in the main square, traditional front but a big relaxed, informal and warm bar inside. Friendly staff, the food is excellent - real quality home cooked comfort dishes, big portions and a real nice feel to the place. Fairtrade Coffee, Real Ales and a great big old back bar.
Car parking on the square on in the King street Car Par.
2. Delvino.
Nice clean contemporary coffee house just of the square on king street, nice coffee, soups, light meals and homebaking. You will get cheaper coffee in town but this is a great place to watch the world go by.
3. Gordon & Durward
A fantastic old fashioned Sweetie emporium, the sweets are made in the backshop, friendly knowledgable staff. Willy Wonka would be proud.
4. Red Onion Bistro
A bit more formal than the Caledonian, the food is excellent, a chef proprietor takes acre of the kitchen and the front of house is warm and welcoming. Well worth a visit if you have some time to spend and unwind.
