Highlights
Very convenient to I-5; we were able to quickly get to all the attractions listed below. Comfortable--cushy bed and pillows; clean and service was great. Free parking. Pet friendly. Accommodations good for handicapped. Complimentary breakfast (eggs, sausage/bacon, breads of all kinds, home fried potatoes, waffles/pancakes, yogurt, cereals, fresh fruit, juices, etc). Great for families, teens, couples of all ages, large groups. Not for partying groups, however.
Go very early in the morning to avoid crowds and long lines. If you are in shape, avoid the bus ride and walk. It is a beautiful place!
We went just for the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibit; balance of museum is all dinosaurs.
Walk along the sidewalk north past Mission Beach and the amusement park. This section of the beach is quieter and lovely. Go for the sunset if the weather is cold.
Lovely restaurant with beautiful views of the marina; excellent food at a reasonable price; free concerts also.
A funky, very casual place with very healthy selections and delicious fish tacos. We went to the Station Village location. Price: low. Don't miss it if you like Baja Mexican....a must!
Dining, shopping, galleries...great place to people watch.
