1. pleasurewood hills
This is a great theme park, lots to do in a nice setting, the only bad thing is they haven't updated the rides in a few years as they seem to have been building this coaster for ages! it was meant to open in 2006 but i doubt it will even be open for the 2007 season.Another thing is there are quite a lot of wasps in the summer which is something to watch out for if you have young kids. However, it is definately a good day out and i would reccommend "the potters kiln" brewers fayre which is opposite the entrance to the park
great place to eat on the seafront even if you don't like fish they had a wide range of dishes to suit everyone. It is a bit pricey but if you park in one of the seafront carparks on the back of your parking ticket you get a buy one get on free voucher which comes in very handy!
3. great yarmouth pleasure beach
I wouldn't say this is a day out but it will keep the kids entertained for a couple of hours. There are a few good rides but the park is quite dirty and i don't think the wristbands are value for money, it is probably better to buy tokens for the rides. I'd say the old woody rollercoaster & the log flume are worth a ride.
Don't be put off by the prices! the meals in here are definately value for money, you get so much! they are definately american sized meals! you could probably share one meal between two people. the setting is nice inside sort of like frankie & benny's without the italian influence. The thickshakes are absolutley gorgeous aswell.
A little amusement park for the kids with minature versions of the bigger rides
A great night out, every wednesday, friday and saturday from 7.30pm.Even the kids will enjoy this and it's so much better if you come home with more money than you went with!
7. pirates cove crazy golf
this is a great crazy golf course, the theming is excellent and it is definately worth the money
