4.0 of 5 stars based on 2 votes

Lots of fun things to see & di in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge

  • Category: Best of
  • 1. Black Bear Jamboree Dinner & Show

Kds loved it & so did we (grandma & grandpa). Food was good. Show was excellent and the price was right (About $35 for adults but the kids were FREE with paying adults.

  • 2. Tubing in Townsend

For about $8 all day you rent a big innertube and go tubing in Townsend which is about 10 miles through the park. There are signs by the visitors center in the park.
Really loads of fun for all ages and the rental places have vans to transport you back to the starting point so you can go again & again.

  • 3. A Lttle Bit of Heaven Horseback Riding

I think that is the name of a great place to see the scenic views on horseback. We had a guide and the kids ages 7, 9 & 11 rode the trail with us.The 4 yr old rode with an adult. It was amazing and it was about $180 for 8 of us. It was worth it.

  • 4. Hiking

We enjoyed hiking some small trails and our grandson age had a magnified critter jar so see them up close.

  • 5. Go Karting

Of course they loved that! and the arcade.

  • 6. Obergatlinburg

$20 will get you a wristband and you can stay & play all day.
Not too many rides but the ones they had were fun. We drove up ski mountain rd. to get here. Didn't need tram ride about ($60) for all of us. The ski lift at Obergatlinburg was just as good and was included in $20 price.

  • 7. Golf Courses

The city course was fine & less expensive then Bent Creek which was fancier and harder to play. A good course is Patriot Hills. Reasonably priced & nicely landscaped.
This was on a trip without KIDS! Also we enjoyed the little 3 par in Pigeon Forge. Lighted so you can play at night. Good for chipping practice & iron play.

  • 8. Baskin Creek Condos

    Nice, sleeps 6 & good deal (( About $70 a night)
