5 day trip to Vegas.. shows, shows, and more shows..

1. Casino at New York - New York
Casino at New York - New York, Las Vegas, Nevada
Very nice hotel and liked the casino. Rooms were nice but not big. Good location as well to the Monorail across the street at the MGM.
2. Bellagio Buffet
The Buffet at Bellagio Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada
Ate here twice for breakfast and was a well run joint. Not cheap, but the food was always good, service was effeicient and didn't have to wait for a table long.
3. La Creperie at Paris
La Creperie at Paris, Las Vegas, Nevada
HATED Paris's buffet place for breakfast. Completely disorganized, food wasn't that good and the wait was ridiculously long. The only good thing they had were crepes. Otherwise I would avoid this place like the plague.
4. Aladdin Buffet
Aladdin Buffet, Las Vegas, Nevada
We ate here on a holiday and got gouged on the price ($30 a head for breakfast) but the nice thing was it wasn't crowded and had no wait. Unlike 'Paris Buffet' which was a horrible experience.
5. Alize at the Palms

Ate here before the Penn & Teller show nearby. Food was excellent and great views of the strip.
6. Penn & Teller
Penn & Teller, Las Vegas, Nevada
Saw their show and help Teller do a trick during the show. Helps to get seats near the front. Very unique show and one of its kind in Vegas. If you like their humor and personality, you'll like their show.
7. Prime Steakhouse
Prime Steakhouse, Las Vegas, Nevada
Awesome steaks and great food/service. They gave us little sauces and mustards for our steaks which made it seem like we had lots of different meals with the variety. Very nice decor as well. We came back later for dessert and got to sit in a private balcony and watch a few 'water-shows' while we ate the dessert. Very classy place (expensive, but worth it).
8. Delmonico's Steakhouse at the Venetian
Delmonico Steakhouse, Las Vegas, Nevada
Wasn't keen on the decor of the place (kinda spartan and very white) but the food was excellent and service very good.
9. Zumanity - Cirque du Soleil
Zumanity - Cirque du Soleil, Las Vegas, Nevada
Had front row seats and my husband got involved in one of the 'bits'. Rauncy show but not too bad. Don't go if you are a prude. Otherwise, it was funny and entertaining.
10. O - Cirque du Soleil
O - Cirque du Soleil, Las Vegas, Nevada
Book tickets way ahead of time. Very good show and you can't believe the tricks they do. Expensive show, but you see why at the end of the show. We had 2nd row seats and it was great.
11. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area
Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, Las Vegas, Nevada
Great place to take the rental car to get away from the Strip. We went here and the park wasn't too crowded and we were able to pull over and see what we wanted. Try to go here during the week. Great scenery.
12. Grand Canyon
Grand Canyon, Grand Canyon National Park, Arizona
Took a plane trip from Vegas to Canyon and then bus tour of one part of the canyon. Great views and a place you should see before you die. Can't believe how big it is until you get there.
