    Cemetery where famous Hartford's residents are buried such as 4 times Oscar winner Katharine Hepburn, Samuel Colt, J.P. Morgan, James G. Batterson, John Hooker etc. FREE to the public. Located on 453 Fairfield Avenue, Hartford, CT 06114 you can reach their website at cedarhillcemetery.org

    Bushnell Park, Hartford, Connecticut

    Right in the center of downtown Hartford. The first public park in America that was financed with public funds, Bushnell Park draws visitors to its 1914 carousel, and also features memorials honoring Civil War and Spanish-American War soldiers and some 150 varieties of trees. One can ride the carousel for only $1.00 and climb the Memorial Arch on Thursday's for FREE during the summer.
