Very memorable place to visit. Brings home what pearl harbor was like and how important it was history-wise.
Great place to visit when you rent a car on Oahu to get out of Honolulu
3. USS Bowfin Submarine Museum & Park
Get to see what life on a submarine is and how small of a space they had to live in.
Great food and loved the chocolate sampler for dessert. Yum.
Awesome steakhouse. Everything we ate here was great. Cheesy bread was fantastic. MaiTais were great as well.
See alot of the nice scenary of Oahu and get away from the city of Honolulu
7. U.S.S. Missouri Memorial
Good place to see after going to Pearl Harbor to dovetail with WWII closure.
Interesting place about history of the Hawaii kings/queens and how the country evolved.
Great place to visit. Book a few week before you go to Hawaii and go early in the day (house isn't air-conditioned). Has fantastic views of Pacific Ocean and interesting house from art perspective.
Fantastic views. Try to go early in the day (unlike what I did) cause it can get hot hiking up the mountain. The hike isn't difficult, but not for someone out of shape. You do need to have to go up a good chunk of steps near the end and through dark tunnels and climb through a hole. But the effort is worth it for the view.
11. National Cemetery of the Pacific
Great place to see the other part of WWII. Has very nice mural of the battles of the Pacific war.
Very nice restaurant. We told them it was our honeymoon when we made the reservation and they gave us a free dessert (without asking us) with sparklers in it. Very nice treat.
Awesome Masala donuts. Worth the trip. Eat them hot. They don't taste as good when they cool off.
