Frederick is a great dating spot, and makes for a great day trip. This list represents what I think are THE must stop spots and things to do, while you are there.

    Amazing Segway tours of Historic Frederick. They really get you to all the hot spots, and the best part is that you are riding one of those self-balancing Segways the whole time! The Segways are even cooler than they look... simply amazing, and the guide was funny and interesting.

  • 2. The Frederick Coffee Company & Cafe'

    We discovered this coffee company when going on our Segway tour (the tour launches from here). This is what coffee houses were like before Starbucks. We wandered in there on a Sunday afternoon and they had a live Jazz Band! Not to mention, their coffee and sandwhichs are great! I recommend the Iced Turtle Coffee. The seating is so comfortable, and the place is very roomy (everyone isnt sitting on top of each other. This place really gives you a taste of small town America.

    The name says it all. The local brewed beer is delicious. And the menu is extensive and very reasonably priced. Great Steak! A must stop to end a great day in Frederick.
