Great hotel, wonderful food, unique shopping
Stay here - Downtown location is close to all the local shops and restaurants. Huge rooms and bathrooms. Very clean, great service and ambiance. If you travel between now and the end of April on a Sunday thru Thursday night you can stay for $99 if you mention the Southern Living article.
As good as any restaurant I've ever been to in NYC. The filet is the best I've had. Great wine list and desserts. Try the salad with pears, walnuts and gorgonzola. Great service. Wonderful for a special event - anniverary etc..
Located downstairs in the Haywood Park Hotel, this chocolate shop is known all the way the LA as the best truffle shop. Stop in for a box of assorted truffles and check out the huge strawberries. They ship nationwide. I guarantee that once you try them, you will have them shipped to your home.
Eat breakfast here - just around the corner from the Haywood Park Hotel. Eat the sweet potato pancakes.
Womans dream - great selection of shoes for everyone!
Great local ingredients. Good for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you like the Homniy Grill in Charleston, try this place. It's owned by his brother.
Great store. The beer selection is overwhelming. Ask the owner what he recommends. He can help you find something that suits your taste.
Great selection of beer (includes a lot of local NC beers)
