The “Hugendubel” is a multi-story bookstore in the city center that would excite any avid reader. The Fünf Höfe and Schäfflerhof shopping arcades house many upscale shops, cafes, and restaurants. For cheaper shopping try “Stachus Shopping Center” at Karlsplatz.

You will find a pleasant beer garden and gourmet shops at the “Viktualienmarkt.”
