This was a beautiful place to visit. The house and grounds did not disappoint. The guide was very informative and friendly, well versed in the history of the property. Well worth the drive!

A restored southern plantation. The original owner was governor of SC when they broke from the Union.. which became the first step to the Civil War. We also did the house tour (which cost a few $)...
