The gulf in Biloxi is more like a big lake, there are no waves. There is a lot of white sand beaches along the gulf and across from Harrahs. If you want waves, you need to go towards Navarre Beach.

The beach is across the street, but not as close as you would think. if you take the car there is plenty of parking and not very crowded. I agree with the other answers. If you want to walk to a little bit of a hike.

Definitely agree with the other answers here. We didn't go to the actual beach but we could view it from our hotel room. It wasn't very far just a short walk but the easiest for you would probably be to drive to the beach and park in the plentiful parking areas closer.

Hello future travelers. The Harrah is not the place for you. I totally agree with the other answerers. There is so much beach to enjoy with tons of parking.

Harrah's at the time we were there in June does not have access to beach, but you can cross the street from Harrah's and be at the public beach with about a 1/4 mile walk. I would recommend Treasure Bay which is right across from beach, so you cross at the cross walk and you are at the beach. Or drive to the visitor center up the road and cross the street there and you are at the beach.

The hotel closest to the public beach in my opinion would be the Beau Rivage. It's a beautiful property and the public beach is right next door. I have never seen the public beach crowded. If you want privacy I'm sure you can find a quite place on the beach.

It will be quite a walk to get to the beach as the hotel is on the opposite side of the road from the beach. However, it is a short drive and there is always plenty of parking on the beach side. Crowds are not an issue normally.

The hotel is across the street from the beach, though the hotel is adding on to their property as construction is currently underway on the beach side. Additionally, they are under construction inside the hotel as well. They have already added the walkway but the beach side is not ready (open to customers). Thus, you would have about a 1/4 mile walk to the public beach. Granted, if you stay at the Golden Nugget, also across the street, you'd have direct access to the beach. That hotel is outstanding, from top to bottom, though your rooms are a little more expensive which is understandble (you're on the beach, hotel recently renovated, etc...). Hope this helps.

Harrahs is not on the beach side of the road. We did not go to the beach on our brief trip but I think you may have a bit of a walk or a short drive
