Summer Bay Orlando By Exploria Resorts Questions & Answers

McArthur, Ohio

I have seen a lot of comments about amenities costing extra. Are beach towels provided? (Cost?) How much does the miniature golf cost? What other hidden costs should we plan for, other than water activities?

Thank you for your question. Pool and beach towels are provide complimentary, as is the resort shuttle and transportation to Walt Disney World Resort(R) and Universal Studios (R). A round of mini-golf is $5.00 per person.

Many complimentary activities are offered daily in addition to complimentary entertainment on the pool decks. Sports equipment is available for complimentary check out and use on the many sports courts including basketball court, bocce ball court and tennis court. Kid's love the interactive water playground, also complimentary with your resort stay.

Hello, there are no cost for beach towels and there are plenty to go around. They are at all of the pools. I'm not sure about the price of the extra activities (eg mini golf and beach extras) but I do know that they have a wide range of free activities ( we did Zumba and water aerobics which we're both really good fun)

Hi there.... I can not answer for sure on the cost of the beach towels but I have a guess that there is some sort of a charge for them. The pool was free and the small beach was free. They have some small boats there (charge), water forts and so on kids climb on (charge) and there was a mini golf right by our unit and guess what,,,, (charge).

We did not use any of the extras so I do not have a solid figure on the extras cost... sorry.

Beach towels are free, however don't go with overly high expectations of the "beach". We took one look at the beach and headed back to the pool. As another reviewered replied, the water activities are all pretty grossly priced and not really worth it. We didn't play mini golf either as the course is small and not at all shaded. We too believe it to be around $5 a person, maybe a little more, but cheaper if you are willing to play in the hottest part of the afternoon. The only other fees for activities that you may run into are for the organized recreation activities that the resort provides. You will get a schedule when you arrive and it will let you know what is happening during your stay. They offer a wide range of activies, from crafts and bingo to an alligator meet and greet. However, some of these activities cost extra, which is indicated on the scedule, usually between $5-$10 each.

Beach towels are free and they do a good job of keeping a good supply. Thou I didn't play m. golf I understand it to be $5. The area they allow fishing is worthless so leave your poles at home. They sell bait but it doesn't open until 10AM long after any fish has left for the day. Water Ski-Doos are terribly priced something like $65 for 30 minutes so forget that. Swimming is only worthwhile thing they offer really.
