Thanks for your question! The villa buildings do have elevators. We do have hot tubs available along with regular pools. For more information, visit our official page on the Marriott website.

HI! YES there are centrally located elevators (one per building) accessing all floors. We were on a top floor and had no issues with elevators. Numerous times we did take the stairs as our unit was near the end of the public access corridor, but we never had an issue or problem with any elevator. With our building being the 'quieter, more adult' building in the resort, we rarely saw or had anyone else on the elevator with us.

We had also pre-requested the top / upper floor for quiet and privacy.

As we were also in the 'quiet, more adult building', at the more private or isolated end of the multi building resort complex (as requested at our time of booking), we (our building) had direct access - right outside our front door - to the 'quiet', more adult pool which also has it's own Jacuzzi.

This pool caters more to the quieter, more adult crowd - thus teens, etc. have to be accompanied by an adult, no pool toys / floats, rafts, etc. allowed in the pool. As this pools attracts the adult crowd - most of the time there were very few if any people in the water when we were there. Most were sunbathing, reading, or taking advantage of the misting cabanas and took an occasional dip to cool off in between sunning sessions.

We drove by the larger, very crowded, very busy 'family and all access' pools multiple times a day - and were always surprised at how busy the pool decks were, how crowded the waters were, the noise levels, and the over abundance of blow-up rafts, pool noodles, etc. that were taking up space. These larger pool area may have their own canteens and food service counters, but it was much nicer having the peace and quiet rather than having food service on the pool deck.

We used 'our' pool multiple times a day - I've never used a pool so much on any other vacation we've taken, and found it (this quieter, adult oriented pool) to be a true pleasure. Totally relaxing, amazingly warm water (averaging 92 degrees), very quiet and respectful guests. Actually, the biggest complaint we heard when there was about one elderly gentleman with a very strong southern drawl who talked VERY LOUDLY all the time, and (in friendliness I'm sure) made it his point to go up to and speak or try to engage a conversation with EVERYONE at the pool EVERYTIME he came on deck. But he proved to be a friendly point of amusement - even when trying to engage me poolside in debates about the American Government parties and to state his very real misconceptions about our (Canadian) health system in comparison (no comparison as we have it great here) to the American system.

Hope this helps! Enjoy your vacation! If you do stay near the adult pool keep an eye our for the abundance of hummingbirds amongst the flowers and landscaping. We even had a rare desert eagle in the pool trees one morning.

All buildings have elevators and there are three different pools depending on where you are staying. There is a quiet pool (adults) and two family pools. There are "hot tub" Jacuzzies at all three locations.
