Yes indeed, and even better, there is a bike share station right across the street. I HIGHLY recommend checking out Bike Share in DC. Super inexpensive and great and easy way to get around. Download the app, find stations to get you around, and save your feet! And have a ton of fun too!

We found this hotel to be the most reasonable as a " home base" for touring D.C. The Metro is 3 blocks away and it is clean and safe. We used the Metro to put us nearer to all the attractions. There is a lot of walking even after you exit the trains. Many of the attractions in DC are free of charge, but you need to pick up entry tickets in the morning and your entry time may not be until later in the day. You can contact your state Senator's office, like we did and they can make the arrangements for you in advance depending on the attraction. We had specific confirmation times for the Bureau of engraving and printing, the Dept of Treasury, the White House Inside tour, the Capitol,, and if you book in advance.... The Holocaust Museum. Going to the top of the Washington Monument----- tickets are distributed first come first serve and go by a time slot selected. Knowing the times of your tours is helpful in limiting the walking distance. If you have several tours in one day, try to schedule them several hours apart and in the same area. The Washington Plaza is 3 blocks from Metro Stop for White House. You'll need the train to get to Arlington Cemetery, or have to drive, but worth the visit.

If you are comfortable walking for distances this is a great hotel to stay at. You can walk to most attractions. If not, it's close to two metro stations and you can easily get around on them. It's also within walking distance to the Chinatown area and Dupont Circle areas where there is good food. It's only two miles from Adams Morgan. If you really like to walk, that's another place to find great food as well.

Yes. We stayed here and walked to everything. White House, Capitol, Washington Monument, other monuments. Very good location. Lots of nice restaurants real close, also.

This hotel is 0.8 miles north of the national mall area which is central to all attractions. Halfway (1/2 mile) between this hotel and the national mall is a metro station that'll take you to any attraction.
