The Toren Questions & Answers

We are traveling with our teenage son. Wondering about room size ? Is there a room that has a separate bedroom and living are with a sofa bed ? Or something like that ? Trying to figure out which room would be best for us.

We stayed in a "small charming canal view" room, and it was nice but certainly SMALL. However our friends were in a " deluxe room" that would have been suitable for a rollaway to be added. We loved the hotel, and would absolutely recommend it for your stay in Amsterdam. Location is excellent and the hotel staff so accommodating. We would certainly return to this hotel.

Hi, we stayed in a queen room with a canal view in the annex bldg. It is definitely large enough for a roll away. Larger than most of the European hotel rooms. But would just double check with hotel to see what else they have.

Great location. Would never stay anywhere else.

It's an excellent hotel. We stayed there 3 nights and we very pleased, but it might be too formal and upscale for a teenager. The location is wonderful so I would look for another hotel close by

I stayed here in one triple room with two friends for a girls weekend. The room was a bit on the bijou side but perfectly comfortable for a weekend. We didn't really think of the hotel as being 'sexy' though I can understand why Irinaz says this. It is quite an intimate hotel. However we did see families there, also with teenagers so I wouldn't rule this hotel out. As mentioned already, might be best to check directly with the hotel for room options. They will be more than happy to help as service is top-priority at this hotel. And the location is in my opinion the very BEST in Amsterdam. Good luck with your holiday planning!

Hi there. Well, I stayed there only once and in one room, so really can't advise on that - you will be safer checking with the hotel directly. One thing to consider though - this is a seriously sexy hotel, and you may prefer to stay somewhere more casual if you are travelling with your son. The hotel is designed for romance, and I my view it really is for a couple get-away.
