The roundtrip Westin ferry is $120 per adult and $90 per child ages 4-17, children under 3 are free. If you purchase the round trip ticket you have unlimited use of the ferry during your stay for those shopping trips to St. Thomas.

I think they charge now $90 per person each way. Also the times are limited so you end up waiting at the Crown Bay Marina.

If your flight arrives before 12:15, cab it to the Charlette Ameila (less then 10 mins) ferry at 1pm direct to St John, 45min and $22 per person which brings you into Cruz Bay. Plenty of taxis there to take you to the Westin.

If you arrive after 1pm, then cab it to Red Hook (25 min). The ferry leaves every hour and costs $12. Van taxis are cheap in St Thomas.

It was $120 round trip or $65.00 one way for the Westin ferry. The public ferry is about half of that, including the two taxi rides. Depending on your schedule, the public ride can be just as fast..

Hi! It was 120 per adult round trip, and 90 per child round trip.

The timing happened to work out for us. Even though we arrived at 12:15 from NYC, we were able to make the ferry that was leaving at 1.

Concierge will provide you with the exact times, so you can see if the ferry times work with your arrival time and your departure time.

If the times don't work well, then the cabs are definitely easy enough. You will cab it in St. Thomas to the ferry, take the public ferry, and then cab it to the Westin once you reach St. John.

For us, it was very much a matter of convenience. We had no desire to deal with luggage at all. Perhaps the next time, I would take the public ferry, now that I feel comfortable with the two islands.

Enjoy your trip!!

I just checked -it is 120(sorry about prior post -thinking year's back)

There are pros and cons to both

pros for westin: you are on westin boat-shorter ride from airport -one price luggage is gone once you leave airport cute restaurant at the dock

-con-infrequent trips crowded and luggage often can take forever to reach you so if you do opt for this keep a bathing suit with you-also price

Pro to the Red Hook-cheaper see more of island always available and when you hit Cruz Bay so easy to get cab and see part of town as you head to westin also small cute bar and snacks at Red Hook-always room on this Ferry

Con-longer ride from airport more transfers

I thought it was up to 100 or 110 -my advice is to take the Red Hook Ferry-the cabs from the airport can be shared and you get to see a nice bit of the island-also the ferry runs very regularly and quickly from Red Hook - If westin tells you you can have unlimited trips the problem is it doesn't run as regularly and is often very full-remember bags are extra when you get to red hook
