Aloha Leesaover!

We are actually located only 10 minutes from Hawaii's # 1 luau at the Polynesian Cultural Center. Our concierges at The Guidepost in our lobby will happily help you set up your luau or you can contact The Polynesian Cultural Center.

I agree with our past visitors :) 5-7 nights is a great range to truly experience what our resort has to offer. Just be careful... after seeing Waikiki you may wish you stayed with us the whole time!

Aloha,

Thank you for your questions and interest in Turtle Bay. There are no child free designated areas on our property. However, We have 12 miles of trails and it's easy to get away from any crowds by simply taking a 15 minute stroll and coming across your own private beach. Surfer, The Bar will be child free after 10pm. Our surf break off our pool bar is perfect for beginners. However, when the waves get monstrous our surfing instructors take groups to a calmer beach to learn how to surf.

Please let me know if you have any other questions and we hope to see you on the Fabled North Shore! :)

Aloha Peety Girl,

We have snorkeling masks and boogie boards for our guests to use free of charge. We do not have sand buckets. However, there are buckets available at Food Land located 5 minutes from our resort in both locations. We look forward to having your family stay with us! :)

Aloha,

The cottages do have a fridge. You will not be in the mist of construction. The cottages are being done the same way our guestrooms were, in phases so other guests are not affected by the renovations. Our pool area was completed recently as well has the spa walkway. You should not be bothered by any construction during your stay, however should the unlikely case arise, please contact one of our Aloha Managers while you are with us. We look forward to welcoming you to the Fabled North Shore November 3rd!

Aloha,

The pool and a bar will remain open the ENTIRE time the enhancements are underway. The pool area enhancements will be complete by the first week of October. Looking at our schedule (which is subject to change) Sept 18-22 would be the construction of our new bar at the pool as well as our new pool deck furniture going live.

We would like to repeat that the pool and a bar will remain open during normal hours. Thank you for your understanding and patience while we work to open our brand new pool bar.

Mahalo,

Management

We left on the 26th of August (so not long ago) and they were doing significant repairs down the West side of resort near the pool area but does not affect the pool. The new construction may be a new bar or similar, but I would be extremely surprised if they have finished it already (if you know what I mean). I do have a photo of the area that shows some of the construction, which is fenced off.

Aloha,

Our enhancements of the pool are scheduled to be complete before Oct. 4.

We may be remodeling our beach cottages during Oct. 25- Nov.1. The remodeling will be done in phases of the cottages so as to not impact guests.
