Dear Julianne,

Thank you for your question. Our Lodge does feature some very beautiful views. Our River View and Spa Club River View rooms have views of the Snoqualmie River. Yes, on the river before the falls is a small, historic hydro-electric plant. The plant does not make noise nor does it stretch along the entire bank of the river. Several guests have pointed out that they appreciate the plant as it generates green electricity. There is also abundant information about the plant (based on its historic nature), in the park that over looks the falls right next to the hotel .

As one person mentioned previously, the scenery near the lodge is very different from Laguna Niguel. There is a very popular hike down to the river present another vantage point of the falls and Snoqualmie River. The hikes and the environment around the lodge are very green and beautiful. Many of our guests join us from the greater Seattle area as a retreat from their urban environments.

As someone else pointed out, the best views of the falls are only a moments walk from the lodge itself. There are several vantage points that are breathtaking.

I would be happy to work with you directly in making a reservation at the lodge, and answer any further questions you may have.

Dear CruisingG,

Thank you for your question. We try to offer later checkouts when possible. We also try to balance any late checkout request with the possibility of a new guest having to wait for their room. Usually on Saturday in particular, we are less likely to be able to offer a late checkout as most of our guests are already at the lodge and ready to check in right at check-in time. If you have a more specific request regarding an upcoming stay, I would be happy to speak with you personally. My direct line is 425-831-6501.
