Dear Madame,

It has been a privilege to be hearing from you and we are so happy to be of the best help. The Toren consists of two beautiful canal buildings that really add value to a local stay. We do have elevators in both buildings, but there are small steps throughout the historical buildings. When experiencing mobility challenges it may be hard to enter the hotel (5 steps ) and to get to certain rooms. We do have several ground floor rooms available, one in our second building, and several suites in our garden. Please note that these suites are reached with a few staircases. The second building has a separate entrance, that also entails 5 steps. I hope that this information is helpful.

For a more detailed description we wish to be of more help via reservations@thetoren.nl. All the best, with our heartfelt wishes,

With warm regards,

The Toren Family and staff

Greetings from Amsterdam! At the Toren we have indeed smoking rooms available, some rooms are more suitable than others when requesting a smoking room. We also have a very comfortable smoking lounge, perfect when enjoying your cocktail or any other drink of course. Via the e-mail address reservations@thetoren.nl we are so happy to make a customized offer based on your preferences. We have so many different room types, all 38 rooms are different and it is a pleasure to make sure that you are entirely informed. From Amsterdam, from the whole team, our best wishes, !

We stayed in a "small charming canal view" room, and it was nice but certainly SMALL. However our friends were in a " deluxe room" that would have been suitable for a rollaway to be added. We loved the hotel, and would absolutely recommend it for your stay in Amsterdam. Location is excellent and the hotel staff so accommodating. We would certainly return to this hotel.
