What travelers are saying
- Robin L25 contributionsEither way; if you life in the neighborhood or staying in one of the hotels nearby; visiting Haarlemmermeerse Bos is worth walking or running or even by bike. Walk around the small lake or cross over to Bigspotters Hill to get a nice overview over Haarlem, Hoofddorp and Schiphol.Written September 4, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John1 contributionI really liked the big iron statue in the middle of the square at #hoofddorpcentrum
It was detailed and simple at the same time. It's a piece of beautiful modern art.
there are a lot of stores and cafes at the mall. There is always something to eat/drink
It also has some famous stores and restaurants like KFC and H&M.Written November 2, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Unlike other children's farms that typically keep you behind a fence, here you can enter their pens and interact with the animals. You can pet the sheep and goats, play with the rabbits and guinea pigs and feed the two donkeys.
There's a large sandpit for the kids to play on and a small coffee shack for Mum and Dad to grab a cuppa while the kids keep themselves busy. The shack also sells juice and ice creams for those rare warm summer days. And all this for FREE!Written August 24, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands35,357 contributionsThe Eersteling is a round stone flour windmill from 1856. The mill was closed because of the pandemic but the shop was open so that we could buy stuff from it such as honey or flour. There is a small parking place just outside the fence. The site is open on thursday, friday and saturday.Written July 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Solodam JAmsterdam, The Netherlands35,357 contributionsIt is a Roman Catholic Church in Hoofddorp, was built in 1856 in neo-Gothic style. It's a municipal monument but the services is still going on. The church still looks good despite being over 150 years old. The stained glass windows are beautiful. The church has also a graveyard with biblical garden.Written July 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I went to the CoffeShop SuperFly and I must say that I had a great time, both as a location and as a service they offer, many varieties of grass and smoke to taste, I would say that it definitely exceeded my expectations !! In fact, I put 5 stars 😍Written August 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - JDThe Netherlands560 contributionsI have been taking my daughters swimming here on a regular basis for over 5 years. It’s 30 mins drive from where we live.
There are swimming pools closer to home. However, this place is far superior and better value than other swimming pools in our area. It is a very clean and well maintained centre with good changing rooms including several large family ones and enough availability so that we nearly always manage to get one. There are several pools in the centre, including one which is not deep and so it’s perfect for young family swimming, another one which is heated with disco lights, a few other very shallow paddling pools with fountains and amusement activities such as pumping and spraying water for fun mechanisms. Also a large pool for lane swimming. The staff seems friendly and vigilant. I think €6 per person is OK. Although they do raise the prices each year. There is also a nice and clean onsite cafeteria as well. I am sure we will continue to come here as when we do we we always have lot of quality fun time together.Written December 30, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
