The Bure Valley Railway is a narrow gauge steam railway operating between the market town of Aylsham and Wroxham, Capital of the Norfolk Broads a distance of nine miles. All coaches are fully enclosed with upholstered seats, heating is provided in the winter months. Combined tickets are available offering a return trip on the railway and a 1 1/2 hour cruise on the Norfolk Broads. An 80 seat cafe is available at Aylsham offering freshly cooked hot food as well as light snacks and drinks. Specially designed coaches are provided to allow wheelchair users and able bodied passengers to travel together. Both Aylsham and Wroxham stations have step free access. Ample free parking for cars and coaches is available at both stations. Children under 5 travel free. In 2011 trains are operating daily between 2nd April and 30th October and also at weekends in November. Santa trains operate in December.
