We oganize scuba diving and snorkeling trips in Cabo Pulmo Marine Reserve. Specialized in small groups of divers (usually maximum 4 divers per boat), to provide you with the best attention and a personalized and service. Serious fun, safety and conservation minded underwater activities! "If you are staying in Los Cabos and want to get away from the incessant sales pitches in town, the crowds, the loud music and see beautiful, unspoiled scenery, this is your place. If you take Hway 1 to the north to Las Cuevas and then the paved road to La Ribera, there is only about 12 km of dirt b..."ut graded road. If you are adventurous, you can take the dirt Camino Rural costera from San Jose on the coast but it's a bumpy, sometimes scary ride through tiny gringo seaside enclaves. We had a jeep and got stuck in deep sand once. Either way, the drive will take 1 1/2-2 hours to get there from CSL.
Cabo Pulmo itself is a protected marine park. You will be admonished by signs to treat the flora and fauna with respect. Recycling receptacles sorted by paper, glass, metal and organic material are located in the parking lot. Very quiet and quite deserted with the only living coral reef in the Gulf of California. The day we were there (Friday) there were probably no more than 20 peopl...

"I stumbled upon Juan's shop while asking for directions, and stayed for the snorkel tour. Along the way, I learned Juan's grandfather was one of Cabo Pulmo's pioneering families, and they are fighting hard to preserve the reef from the ravages of Big Development. Knowledgeable and friendly guides ta..."ke you through the reefs that are their backyard. We saw scores upon scores of colourful fish, jumped into the middle of a swirling school of jacks, and came face-to-face with sea lions (lobo marinos) doing barrel rolls beneath us.
Its inaccessibility (down a long stretch of dirt road) is part of the charm. Next time, we'll skip Los Cabos entirely and really unwind in Cabo Pulmo!

"I did three diving trips over the course of a week with this shop. They seemed very competent and guided me on different locations around Cabo Pulmo. The reef was very healthy and the fish were plentiful. Diving underneath hundreds of jack fish was a highlight. This is a remote location but they ar..."e well equipped.
The only downside to this operation is that they get a lot of groups in from Cabo for the day. This seems to attract inexperienced divers. Please make sure to dial in your buoyancy control and watch your fins on the reef. We are the biggest threat to reef. Choose your days carefully here. If the North wind is blowing you might want to skip it.
