As wine lovers, my husband and I enjoyed the wonderful wineries...particularly the chance to try out many new Brunello wines. The pecorino cheeses from Pienza are not to be missed. And did I mention the pears with brunello sauce at Al Forno Veccio? Yum! San Quirico is located on the via Francigena walking path that runs from northern Europe to Rome.
