We spent the next 7 hours on a circular tour of the island, hitting many scenic points of view. His driving was always respectful of our safety and comfort - over some very hilly and narrow roads where other drivers were not so cautious. Along the way, Ted provided a commentary on the people, sites, history, culture and economy of this beautiful island, all the time interspersed with very funny comments, many self-deprecating, about local people and situations.   "Great morning walk by the ocean"
  "The boardwalk has made a huge difference to the south coast. You can now walk or jog from Accra to Hastings. Their are benches to sit on to take a break and view the beautiful ocean. There are also toilets which are extremely clean and staffed as well. We visited in October last year and no issues a..."t all however on our return this May there were areas of the decking that were completely covered with sand. Could just be the time of year, not sure. There were folks trying to clear it but the first attempt was half hearted to say the least. Another crew was sent and they did a better job. I sure hope they keep it cleaned because the sand was quite deep and really a pain since you are not in bare feet when walking this boardwalk. " More >

  "Nice walkway.... a bit sand build up when we were there...however easy access to restaurants, etc. It goes quite a bit of distance so you can stay "off the street" and feel like you're in another world. "
