- Trishank RCollege Park, MD18 contributionsBeautiful area to ski/snowboard! Stayed right in the town, easy to access mountain lifts and plenty of runs. Got over a foot of snow, great conditions!Written March 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- KGC307Charleston, SC121 contributionsWe visited during the winter for a leisurely drive with picturesque views. Keep your eyes peeled for bison and birds from harriers to magpies. Swing by the Visitor’s Center to learn more about the importance of the salt lake.Written January 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PTCGalLiberty Township, OH71 contributionsThis is one of the smaller Air Force museums. The planes and other displays are well-done, showing some highlights of what they due at Hill AFB.Written August 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - PaulDallas, TX3 contributionsIt was a ton of fun and faster than we thought kids aged eight and six had a blast. Highly recommend wish it was a little bit less expensive. We would’ve done it twice.Written March 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Dean S2 contributionsPark city mountain was insanely epic but the highlight of my trip was improving my skills thanks to Jesse. He helped me level up and get over my fear of certain death. Try seek him out, he surfs the mountain... some say you can periodically make out waves of snow on the mountain with him ripping barrels.Written March 16, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SeeTheW0rld62Sunnyvale, CA1,499 contributionsWe walked around downtown on our day off of skiing. It's nice with lots of historic buildings. There are a lot of souvenir shops, clothing stores, restaurants, jewelry stores, and art galleries. We were looking around, not out to buy anything so we had a light lunch and window shopped.Written February 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Ann A6 contributionsFascinating museum! So glad we saw this museum, it was fascinating to learn the history of Park City as the world capital for silver mining. The models which depict the layers and layers of mining were art itself. Loved the real life models of the ski train and the jail. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Park CityWritten March 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lorrie H18 contributionsThis was a beautiful drive despite our timing, due to the cooler weather the leaves fell a few weeks before we arrived. But it still was a beautiful scenic drive. Beautiful blue skies and crisp 50’s temperaturesWritten November 4, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bikingmomCleveland, OH755 contributionsWe came here on a Wednesday after a big snow dump on Tuesday. Skied over from Snowbird, so happy that we did. The lines were manageable and the skiing conditions were perfect. We never skied back to Snowbird, just took the shuttle back. My future trips will be just to Alta and I will book a hotel and stay there. No more drives into the canyon for me.Written March 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Catherine W1 contributionImo the ski conditions were bad. No snow and icy. My husband thinks he can take me on any slope in any condition and he does and I’m laid to rest. That was until a nice man Hodgie helped me and a lady named Veronica. There was a man named Dan too. Lots of people on a run that was Too icy, with crappy fake snow steep with iced moguls.it began with a C. We were trying to cross from Canyons over to Park City. Then a helper named Veronica and I literally almost died when an out of control snowboarder flew through the air. He nipped me, wiped out and he was alright. I don’t know if they give tickets but she was talking to him for a while. I fell. He fell. All good. If Veronica wasn’t there though, honestly I could have been dead. And when hodgie found me I was literally petrified. He was so calm and kind. Thank you everyone. Advice to readers, go when it snows. This place is so beautiful it’s insane. The runs are amazing. And my daughter, after all that, literally fainted on the gondola. An instructor caught her and got her medical attention immediately. Thank you.

It was gorgeous, even in the winter, and the water still flows while the area around it is frozen. The hike through the snow isn't too arduous, and the view is very pretty.Written February 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MKTBETopeka, KS3,053 contributionsI love Christmas lights! They are a wonderful reminder that the Savior is the light of this world. Our party of six reserved VIP reservations at Thanksgiving Point, which included preferred parking, arrive at any time, unlimited hot chocolate with an accompanying mug, a Christmas light necklace, and a few other extras.
The Luminaria experience is a delightful stroll through Ashton Gardens. You are immediately immersed in another world with all of the lights, smells, music, and tastes of the Christmas season. A one-way path ushers you through 28 themed areas and the immense luminaire hill, leading to the 120-foot tree setting high on a hill. The Gingerbread house was delightful and gave a little reprieve from the cold! Our teenage grandchildren even enjoyed the scavenger hunt. Looking for ornaments throughout the park that helped you solve a puzzle! The beautiful statuary garden depicting the Savior's life was especially poignant. It is lit with hundreds of golden lanterns, reminding all of the focus of the holidays.
Thanksgiving Point Luminaria Experience was phenomenal & I would love to return at another time to visit its other attractions!Written January 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
