Maragogi Attractions: What to do & Places to Visit in Maragogi
"In my humble opinion, this is the best beach in Maragogi.
There's a place there where a small clear river joins the sea, so while the tide is low (mornings), the sand banks form several small swimming pools with water so clear and warm that you really don't want to leave it. And why should you?
Yo..."u can play "tea bag" dipped in warm water while small fishes and crabs swim around or you can collect seashell if you will, for they are huge and plentifull
Further north, the sea is a wonderful shade of greens and blues, very calm and warm.
There are 3 restaurants there (all a considerable distance from the other) offering parasols and chairs where you can strech down and relax. You can also rent buggies and explore a little bit more.
Sometimes it feels like you're on a desert island.
It's so good.

"I've been to lots of beaches in Alagoas, Pernambuco, Ceará, Bahia, Paraíba .... and this is certainly one of the most beautiful I've visited. The color of the water is just amazing. I got hypnotized when I first saw it. The restaurant that takes the same name serves delicious food with honest prices..." and amount. It's a must see place. Don't miss it!!!

"A gorgeous, caribbean like beach - possibly the most beautiful I've seen in Brazil (outside of Fernando de Noronha).
As most beaches in Maragogi area, finding it is not overly easy by car as there aren't any signs pointing to it (have to ask a local) - which is good in a way as it keeps the place ..."unspoiled.
There are a couple of restaurants there, as well as nearby acommodation (I don't know if they serve meals).
Make sure you visit it on low tides (ideally below 0.5 - tides throughout the day can be checked at:
http://www.maragogionline.com.br/tabua-marco.htm) - a reef area can be reached by walking (long walk, but well worth it) with loads of colourful fishes. The place becomes an enormeuous pool (doesn't get deep unlesa you walk a lot) with turquoise water.
