Visually the course is spectacular, with the crescent of dunes stretching off into the distance, and the huge dune that wraps around the sides and the back of the first hole catching your eye as you step up onto the first tee. On the outward nine the holes mostly are on the outside of the dunes, but the routing zigs and zags enough that you have seaside holes goinh out as well as on the return nine.
