"This is definitely a must see for everyone! The visitor's center is full of great information about the history of the monument and the work that went into it. If ever you are are even close to here, you must stop to see it, you won't be disappointed!"
"Having stayed close to Mt. Rushmore in Keystone we spent some time here the first evening (mostly indoor stuff). Came back the next morning and did the Presidential Walk. Seeing Mt. Rushmore from different view points was wonderful. Don't miss the sculptors studio toward the end of the walk. Wen..."t back that night for the lighting of Mt. Rushmore. Enjoyed the film about the four presidents. The lighting was not spectacular - it just lite up but it was very cool to see it at night. Once you pay the parking fee you can return as many times as you want and throughout the year.

"If you don't like a lot of stairs the end of the trail will not be for you (stone stairs). The beginning of the walk is basically a trail and then steps (5 or so at a time then a platform). There are benches at each stop and it is shaded which will be helpful in the heat of summer. It was great to..." see the different views of Mt. Rushmore and don't miss the sculptors studio at the end (before the hike up the stone stairs).
