The Verde Valley Archaeology Center is an archaeological educational and research facility located in Camp Verde, Arizona. We have a modest exhibit and display area. Our knowledgeable volunteers can provide information on the prehistoric cultures of the area as well as the Native American history of the Verde Valley. On Thursdays and Fridays, the Coconino National Forest Artifact Identification Project Team meets. Members of the team can show you what we are doing and provide some background on the artifacts you will see.The Arizona Natural History Association operates the Museum Gift Shop. Open 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (closed Tuesdays and major Holidays).
