Archaeology Day Tour lets you explore ancestral Pueblo (Anasazi) history with professional archaeologists. Visit a Crow Canyon excavation site, tour a working archaeology lab, and see artifacts in the curation room. Hands-on activities. May–Sept., Wed. and Thurs., for age 10 and older; price includes lunch. Crow Canyon also offers programs for school groups; middle school and high school archaeology camps; High School Field School; Archaeology Research Program for adults; and educational travel in the Southwest and beyond. Founded in 1983, Crow Canyon is a nonprofit organization dedicated to understanding, teaching, and helping to preserve the rich history of the ancestral Pueblo people of the American Southwest.
