With over 20 live performances a week "The Horse" as known by locals is still kicking. We are open 7 days a week with live music from open til close. Legend has it that "The Horse" was the last place the great American author and poet Edgar Allan Poe was seen the night before his mysterious death. Many claim his spirit still lingers on site, with plenty of encounters and happenings to give the claims merit. - The largest on premise Jack Daniels Bar in the state of Maryland- Per square foot we sell more Jack Daniels than any other pub, saloon, or tavern in the WORLD (small bar but whole lotta jack)- Over ten homemade Jack Daniels infusion flavors ranging from our Tennessee fire to Mean Vanilla Bean.
