After a visit to Chotto Matte which was mildly put disgusting beyond belief, my husband took me to Starlite. I worked as a bartender for 19 years in London and frankly my experiences with hospitality in the US were nothing but traumatizing at best, heartbreaking and just depressing. We were celebrating finalizing my 3 years immigration process to be with my husband and my Green Card. We just wanted to enjoy ourselves and not struggle with bad service and returning drinks, servers mistakes etc ... I was so hesitant to even go in, I honestly felt that I just can't digest any more of what we have been experiencing. The manager in Starlight was fantastic. He literary said come with me, took us to the bar, poured us a few shots, came back to shine torch to show us the glitters in the shot, introduced us to the bartender, and came back to check on us, then came back again offering us a table. Next time we came back, the bartender who served us only once on our previous visit, came over to us just to say hi and the manager suggested to book a table next time so they know our preferences.
Thank you so much to everyone in Starlite for saving our evening
