"The museum is very interesting, with up to date information on the eruptions, and Park Rangers who are willing to spend time with you, answering your questions and explaining different aspects of the thermal activity. The shop and museum close at 7pm, and they give you lots of warning. The volcano i..."s stunning at night if you are lucky enough to see it before the vog rolls in.

"Amazing to be able to walk through a HUGE lava tube- imagining all the time that hot molten lava coming from the center of the earth, at one time traveled where you are walking! Lots of information an explanations on boards around the attraction. Well worth the stop and battling the crowds. "
"My husband and I had a wonderful hike to see the lava flow. Our guide, Neil was knowledgable and entertaining. We are still talking about the experience two days later. The tour was somewhat expensive, but amazing fun and worth the cost. The hike back at night with headlamps was really crazy and ..."interesting. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.
